2006 Long Island IVF Clinical Pregnancy Rates

How to interpret this data

Clinical pregnancies are defined by the presence of a gestational sac in the uterus.

A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient characteristics and treatment may vary from clinic to clinic.

  • Fresh transfer pregnancy rate = number of fresh clinical pregnancies ÷ number of transfers.
  • Thaw transfer pregnancy rate = number of thaw clinical pregnancies ÷ number of transfers.
  • Fresh + Thaw transfer pregnancy rate = number of fresh clinical pregnancies + number of thaw clinical pregnancies ÷ number of retrievals.
